Eight losses for Club La Costa and a £95,400 Anfi award in Spanish court victories

We are pleased to share last week’s Spanish court victories.

M1 Legal secured 12 results, with a total amount awarded of £254,120.

• Club La Costa – We secured 8 victories for our clients. The court declared the contracts null due to a lack of key information, including the property details and when clients could use it. Total amount awarded across all eight victories: £106,792.
• Anfi – We also secured a substantial award against Anfi. The contract was declared null for the same reasons as above, with an award of £95,400.
• Club La Costa appeals – We secured 3 appeal wins in our clients’ favour. In all three cases, the judge also ordered CLC to pay the court costs. Total value of these cases: £51,928.

5 jurisdiction victories valued at £90,707

M1 Legal secured 5 jurisdiction victories last week: four against CLC and one against RCI Europe. The defence challenged the cases being heard in the Spanish courts. All five cases will now proceed.
