Huge awards in Silverpoint timeshare court cases: £135,207 won in Spain last week

We are pleased to share last week’s Spanish court victories.

Our legal team secured four strong results. Three of the awards were above our overall average amount, bringing the total awarded for the week to £135,207.

In a case against Anfi Sales and Anfi Resorts, the Court of Appeal in Malaga ruled in our favour, rejected all elements of Anfi’s defence and ordered them to pay costs. £18,123 was awarded.

We also won three cases against Silverpoint. In each one, the court declared the contract null due to a lack of key information (including the property details and when it could be used). The awards were £25,010, £45,030 and £47,042.

In addition to these substantive rulings, there were also 12 jurisdiction victories valued at £229,053. All were against CLC apart from one against Diamond Resorts. The defence disputed the cases being heard in Spain. Five wins were at the initial jurisdiction hearing and six were successful appeals. All cases will now proceed to the next stage.
