Over the past week, our legal team has secured seven more favourable substantive judgments, adding to our growing list of wins. One of these outcomes was against Tasolan SL, where the timeshare contract was declared null. As in many similar cases, the court found the contract lacked clear information about what was being purchased and for how long, as required under Law 04/2012. In the Tasolan case, £7,660 was awarded.
We also achieved a further success against Mertex Investments & RCI Europe Sucursal. This matter was heard at the Court of Appeal in Málaga, and the court awarded £14,307.
Five of the seven substantive judgments were against Club La Costa. The contractual names involved in these cases were CLC UK PLC Sucursal España and CLC UK PLC. Combined, the awards in these cases totalled almost £90,000, with the exact figure at £89,134.
In addition, in jurisdiction cases we secured one more victory against Diamond and a further 10 wins against CLC Sucursal.
