More success against Club la Costa: £65,068 awarded in four court victories
Last week, our legal team secured favourable judgments in four separate Club La Costa cases, with total awards of £65,068. In one of those cases, as in many CLC claims, the court’s decision centred on issues with the contract itself: a lack of clear determination and detail, an unclear contract term (and therefore unlawful), and the fact that Club La Costa presented the agreement as an “investment” that clients would need to sell in the future.
We also achieved a win against Silverpoint Vacations SL, with £8,022 awarded.
Another successful outcome was obtained against Diamond Resorts, with total awards of £13,790. The case was heard at AP Tenerife Court.
Alongside these substantive results, we have also secured around half a dozen jurisdiction victories against Club La Costa, with the contractual entities named as CLC Continental and CLC Sucursal. We also obtained a further jurisdiction victory against Diamond Resorts.
