Over the past week, we’ve secured several favourable judgements against a range of timeshare resorts and associated groups, including the following contractual entities:
These timeshare cases were heard in Fuengirola Court (Spain), Arona Court (Tenerife), Torremolinos Court (Spain) and Palma de Mallorca Court (Spain).
In the claim against Sunset Beach, the claimant was awarded £12,925, including costs. In all three Club La Costa (CLC) court judgements, the decisions were found in our favour because the contractual agreements lacked sufficient accommodation details. In the case against CLC Continental Resorts, the judge also condemned CLC in costs and ordered payment of double the first payment made by our client, payable within 30 days of the contract signature. The same outcome was reached in the claim against CLC PC Marketing Balear, with the client awarded £13,222. In the case against CLC Sucursal, our clients were awarded £16,585, including costs.
In addition, last week we also secured two jurisdiction victories against Diamond Resorts and a further six against Club La Costa. All but one of these cases were heard in Fuengirola Court (mainland Spain), with the remaining case heard in Arona Court, Tenerife.
