This week, we secured victories in four separate cases against Anfi sales, heard at the courts of San Bartolomé de Tirajana nº 3, nº 1 and nº 5 in Gran Canaria.
In each Anfi timeshare court case, the judge found our clients’ contracts to be unlawful. The contracts exceeded the legal time limit and did not include required accommodation information, such as the specific resort where the clients’ timeshare units were located and when they would be entitled to use them.
The judge ruled in our favour in all four cases, awarding our clients a combined total of £57,698.18.
We also won a case against Sunset Beach this week, heard at the Torremolinos nº 2 court in mainland Spain. Our client was awarded a total of £6,158, including costs. The claim was based on the contract’s failure to provide the legally required accommodation details, including dates and locations.
Club La Costa also lost a further jurisdiction case against our legal team. The judge at Fuengirola nº 5 court sided with us, agreeing that the consumer can choose where to bring the claim, which meant the Spanish courts could hear the case.
Another strong week for the team. If you would like to submit a claim, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
