We’re pleased to share our latest court win against Club La Costa.

Following an initial court decision that was appealed, M1 Legal succeeded on the question of jurisdiction. The Club La Costa court case was then heard at the Court of First Instance in Fuengirola, where it was found that the contract did not meet the legal minimum requirements. In particular, it lacked essential accommodation details, including Land Registry information and the period of use.

The contractual name used in this case was Club La Costa (UK) PLC Sucursal en España.

The judge declared the clients’ contract null and void and ordered Club La Costa to pay £30,480 in compensation.

A strong result for M1 Legal, and congratulations to their clients.
