CLC World are selling timeshare points again: who’s selling them now, and why?

More than four years after CLC World closed its sales department, CLC World timeshare points are being sold again.

CLC paused timeshare sales in 2021 and shifted attention towards property sales under its IDILIQ brand. That shift included the sale of some CLC inventory, which has reportedly reduced availability for remaining members.

At the same time, there was a concerted push to contact existing CLC members and encourage them to trade in their CLC ownership to buy one of the properties.

The key questions (as before)

1 – Who is selling the points now – CLC World, Wyndham, or IDILIQ? In other words, is Wyndham selling CLC World points, or is IDILIQ selling CLC World timeshare points?

2 – Which company name appears on the contract?

3 – How can CLC World sell timeshare points following changes to the Spanish legal landscape?

CLC is still going through the administration process, with many assets tied up in liquidation to pay off a long list of creditors.

With availability, exclusivity and resort standards at CLC reported to have declined – and many existing members now looking to hand back their ownership – the restart of points sales raises obvious questions.
