Judge awards Diamond, Anfi and Club la Costa clients £68,106 in Spanish court victories

We are pleased to share last week’s Spanish court victories. M1 Legal secured three successful outcomes, with a total of £68,106 awarded. Full results are set out below.

First Instance Court results

• Diamond Resorts – The court declared the timeshare contract null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, under Spanish law 04/2012. Court costs were also awarded. £22,537 awarded.
• Anfi – The court declared the timeshare contract null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, under Spanish law 04/2012. Court costs were also awarded. £26,961 awarded.
• Club La Costa – The court declared the timeshare contract null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, under Spanish law 04/2012. Court costs were also awarded. £18,608 awarded.

Jurisdiction hearings

7 jurisdiction victories valued at £84,193

M1 Legal secured seven jurisdiction victories last week: five against Club La Costa and two against Diamond Resorts. In each case, the defence challenged whether the claims should be heard in the Spanish courts. These challenges were rejected, and all cases will now move forward to the next stage.
