Club la Costa and Albatros Ventas court victories: contracts null in Spain, £90,908 awarded

We are pleased to share last week’s Spanish court victories in Club La Costa and Albatros Ventas cases.

M1 Legal secured five results, with a total amount awarded of £90,908.

First Court of Instance (Spain)

  • Club La Costa Sucursal – Three cases were heard against Club La Costa. The court declared the contracts null due to insufficient information, including details of the property and when it could be used. Total awarded: £45,526.
  • Albatros Ventas – The court confirmed the contract nullity and awarded interest accrued during the 14-day cooling-off period. Amount awarded: £24,729.

Appeals

  • Club La Costa Continental – The Court of Appeal dismissed CLC’s appeal in full, upholding the First Court of Instance judgment and ordering CLC to pay court costs. Amount awarded: £20,650.
