This week brings another successful result against Silverpoint, following a further defeat for the company in the Spanish courts.
The case was heard in Arona, Tenerife, where the court found the Silverpoint timeshare contract to be unlawful. The agreement did not set out the minimum information required by law about the accommodation—specifically what had been purchased and when it could be used. In addition, the contract term exceeded the maximum duration permitted under the legislation.
The judge declared the Silverpoint Vacations contract null and void and ordered the company to pay the client £23,019.
Another substantial win for M1 Legal.
