A substantial loss for Onagroup as timeshare contract is ruled null and void, €78,150 awarded
M1 Legal has secured a significant court win against Onagroup, involving contracts in the names of Resthotel S.A. and Medhotel group S.L.
In these contracts, key information about the accommodation was missing. This included Land Registry details, clarity on when and for how long the accommodation could be used, and the type of unit provided (for example, a studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom). In addition, the contract term was unlimited, exceeding the maximum duration permitted by law.
The judge ruled that the contract should be deemed null and void and ordered Onagroup to pay €78,150.
